About us
The Photo Discovery Circuits of the Coaticook region were created by the Table de concertation culturelle de la MRC de Coaticook. The TCCC is a non-profit organisation which got its patent letters in 1999.
Its mandate is to make accessible and to develop the cultural attractions of all of the 12 municipalities located in the Coaticook MRC.

The TCCC group together people interested by the cultural development of their MRC, thus making sure to give a voice to all of the municipalities. The TCCC board of directors is composed of twelve representatives, one from each municipality, as well as one representative of the Mayors Assembly, and the development agent of the Conseil de la culture de l’Estrie. Even though the TCCC was officially founded in November 2000, this organisation has played an active role in the cultural development of the Coaticook MRC since the mid 90s.
Through its dynamism and commitment, the TCCC has proven its capacity in bringing to completion many large-scale initiatives. Initiatives which are in keeping with the orientations of the socio-economic forums held in the Coaticook region every five years.
In 1997, the TCCC idea of creating a MRC CULTURAL TOUR was listed as the third of ten priorities of the socio-economic forum.
Following an exhaustive collect of cultural data within each municipality, the very first PHOTO RALLY was presented to the population in the spring of 2002 as a zestful way to explore its own culture. Four other rallies have taken place since then, one during the fall of 2003, two others in the winter and summer of 2004, and the last one in the winter of 2005. To their great enjoyment, over 1000 people have cut across the Coaticook MRC.
As part of these rallies, four PHOTO EXHIBITS have been put together since 2002. For each of these events, five photographers have been honoured and their winning picture has been voted “COUP DE COEUR” or “MENTION” by the visitors of the exhibit.
In May 2004, the TCCC put forward an initiative that would allow the public to independently participate in one of the six proposed tours, outside the annual rally events, all year-round, and at their own time. Six bilingual colour guides have been put together and are awaiting to take you away on a road trip throughout the Coaticook region… while snapping amazing shots.
It is now your turn to explore and picture your own PHOTO DISCOVERY CIRCUITS of the Coaticook region.
Beautiful discoveries ahead!
